Imminence Front

Where did the last two months go? Straight to my GI tract if these stomach pains are anything to go by...

Sayyadina's "Mourning The Unknown" LP is at the plant and should be ready to melt turntables imminently. Just got the test pressings and they sound sweet. I haven't given this record my undivided attention in a while and I think I forgot how great it is. Unrelenting speed and fury matched by the catchiest riffs. Possibly my favorite grindcore record ever. The three new tracks fit right into the mix. The only real change on this is that it's not a gatefold package to try to keep cost down on this thing.

UP NEXT! D.E.R. "Quando a Esperança Desaba" LP!! The artwork has been approved so this should go to press at the end of May.

Sayyadina will be in the U.S. for a few East Coast dates between Auditory Assault Fest and Maryland Death Fest.

May 16/17 NYC @ Auditory Assault Fest
May 18 Boston, MA @ Obrien's Pub - Sayyadina, Defeatist, Nothing But Enemies, Deathamphetamine
May 19 Providence, RI @ AS220 - Sayyadina, Defeatist , I Destroyer +?
May 20 Rochester, NY @ Bug Jar - Kill The Client, Sayyadina, Defeatist, Crucifist
May 21 Shamong, NJ @ Conduit House - Kill The Client, Sayyadina, Defeatist
May 22 Baltimore, MD @ Maryland Death Fest

In anticipation of Mourning The Unknown, I'm posting the interview Sayyadina did for Short Fast + Loud a couple issues back. This issue is still available at Six Weeks Records pick it up! Thanks to Punks Is Hippies for the scans...

Stilbirth pains

Who makes records anymore? Really dumb people apparently. Really dumb people who have no interest in programming a website. Vinyl is the way to go...

First one out of the gate will be the long overdue LP version of Sayyadina's "Mourning The Unknown". Gatefold LP with three extra tracks from the same recording session. www.sayyadina.com

Not soon after that will see the vinyl version of D.E.R.'s "Quando a Esperança Desaba". Unrelenting Brazillian grindcore! www.myspace.com/derpunk

These should go into production sooner than later and then it's in the hands of the pressing gods. Fickle hands they may be...
